Following last week's Wise Crypto Life #10, we will continue discussing NFTs. Last week we reviewed the concept of NFT, recent aspects of the NFT market, and looked at NFT examples in each field of culture and art. This time, we would like to discuss more exotic cases of NFT. Rare NFTs

As NFTs draw more attention, NFT market places such as OpenSea and Rarible are popping up unique NFTs that make you think, ‘You sell THIS as NFT?’ The fact that the NFT version of Twitter founder Jack Dorsey's first tweet, "Just setting up my twttr", was auctioned off for about 3.3 billion won in March remains an unusual example. NFTS as interesting as these have further appeared to create a rare scene.

1. The World Wide Web's first source code – A unique product with the title 'First' like Jack Dorsey's tweet. Last week, the source code of "www", which has changed our lives significantly, appeared in the NFT market under the interesting title "This Changed Everything". The auction reached approximately 6 billion won and recently slowed down, rattling the cryptocurrency market.

2. Doge Meme: You might be familiar with Dogecoin, which uses a Shina Ibu with a puzzled expression as its mascot. The owner of the Shiba dog “Kabosu”, the real protagonist of the cryptocurrency Dogecoin that has emerged as a trend by spawning numerous memes and parodies, directly put the 'Doge Meme' NFT on the auction market. It was consequently sold at a price of 4.5 billion won.

3. Lou Gehrig's retirement speech: Legendary American first baseman Lou Gehrig famously said in his retirement speech, "Today, I consider myself the luckiest man on the face of this Earth." The quote was widely talked about and made him even more well-known. Baseball fans around the world are paying attention as the MLB announced that this speech would be NFTized and auctioned off.

4. Alien Autopsy Footage: The mysterious wreckage discovered in Roswell, USA in 1947 is claimed to be a crashed UFO because residents of Roswell reported seeing strange creatures at the time. British film producer Ray Santilli uploaded a video footage claiming to be an alien autopsy. The video was NFTed and submitted with a starting price of KRW 1.3 billion.

5. Dokdo NFT– To commemorate Liberation Day on August 15th, an NFT with the names of 815 Koreans will be created. It is even more meaningful that the proceeds from the auction of this NFT, engraved with the names of the martyrs who fought to protect Korea and those who have made Korea shine, will be used for organizations working to protect Dokdo.

Have you seen the examples of rare NFTs that raise both questions and surprises? In the future, more unimaginable NFTs will pour out, and it is also expected to become more common. Some criticize that it is a temporary fad and one should not piggyback on the boom, but interest in the NFT market is still high. Things that have not been recognized for their value or have not known an appropriate route to be recognized are being reborn through NFT and given new value. What kind of NFT will surprise us next?
